Something seriously wrong in this organization
Honestly, there has to be something wrong with this organizatiom stemming somewhere from the top. Whether it is Mickey Loomis, the scouting department, or some of the coaches. How can you lose with the "talent" we have. I think we're either seriously bad at evaluating or developing talent. You're telling me other teams would miss as bad as we have in free agency or the draft like we have? I feel like any other team with the weapons we have on both sides of the ball would have a phenomenal season. You're telling me if Denver drafted KVac or signed Byrd they would've played that poorly? Or if they had Cam Jordan he would have the season he's had here? What about Kenny Stills (not to say he hasnt played well) but he has tremendous talent and would be a phenomenal wide receiver in other well coached programs.
There's something wrong with this organization and I feel we're a few weeks away from a big article revealing another scandal or some sort of tear between players/ coaches/ management in the organization. I just can't put my finger on it, but how else can you explain this season? |

Philadelphia eagles "Dream Team" went 6-10 after signing several great players
2014 saints were way more talented than 2009 saints, just so happened that the 2009 saints formed one of the greatest teams we've had with some very average players. The players all complimented eachother well and worked their behinds off every day. |

Re: Something seriously wrong in this organization
True, but the difference between the "Dream Team" and us was that we have a HoF QB. I mean sure Mike Vick made it look flashy, but he was never even close to Brees level of play.
I just find it hard to have a losing season with a Hall of Fame QB, a good run game, and good receiving weapons. Something got overlooked somewhere in the off season. Plus that draft we had was abysmal so far. I mean unless SJB comes out and plays at a pro bowl level i don't see how it wasn't the worst draft in the SP era. |

You win and lose games in the trenches and unfortunately this scouting department lost sight of that. Look at what Dallas has done by upgrading their lines... |

How excited did we get when we signed Byrd? And how often was he out of position in the 4 weeks he was healthy? The answer to both of those questions is a hell of a lot. |

Even with all the necessary ingredients you sometimes make a bad pot of Gumbo.

Re: Something seriously wrong in this organization
the no# 1 thing that I really believe happened to this team is overall
leadership. varcaro said it best when asked when harper went so did a leader, vilma not there that guy helped carry this team to a championship, i'm not going to mention the one in prison. yes its leadership' guys it goes a long ways in team sports i'm sure most of u played as I and tell me i'm wrong. |
