Re: Saints will pick 13th
I could see Beasley being another Dion Jordan. I'm not keen on these 230lb rushers. Not all can put on another 15-25lb and be effective. Very few can stand up to the run either.

Re: Saints will pick 13th
The Colts have all kinds of DBs though. They traded Marcus Burley to the Seahawks in preseason, and he ended up playing nickel for the Seahawks and became a huge part of their defense. And he was only the 6th guy on the Colts depth chart at CB - I was screaming at the time for the Saints to go get him - but the point is they have a ton of good young DBs over there who will be pushing for more playing time. So I would not be surprised at all if they let Butler leave in FA.

Re: Saints will pick 13th
I hear you I just hope we have the cap room to do that. It seems like we have so many holes and at the beginning of the season I thought it was going to be the best Saints team ever.

Re: Saints will pick 13th
It would be nice to get a good corner in the third or fourth. I just hope the one we took in the second this year turns out ok.

Re: Saints will pick 13th
if a cb falls into our laps in the third better grab him. after that i see a ton of long term projects on the board. SJB would be a 3/4 or 4th rounder in the draft even with the same hype.
plenty of solid #2 CB with a high ceiling and a high floor in the first to rounds. man cover talent looks good |
