For all those *****ing about the offense being the problem this year:

Total Yards

The Saints finished with 6,582 total net yards in 2014, the second-highest total in franchise history behind the NFL record 7,474 in 2011

Hell Yes they do, if you have a defense that is just a little more efficient than a screen door on a submarine

I'd like to positive and say that while the Bucs definitely mailed it in for the No. 1 pick, can you really blame the defense so cavalierly when Brees threw three interceptions...

Even the 85 Bears can't overcome poor field position and boneheaded interceptions, fumbles, turnovers...

Offense was ranked in the top, defense was ranked at the bottom in every stat, so yes I can

Offense had some bad games, but the defense was turrible every snap just about...

I don't think there's one single stat where our defense ranked better than our offense.

You can march up and down the field all day, but when you can't punch it in on short yardage or you're turning it over like we did, then it's not just the defense that's a problem...

Well we were ranked 9th in scoring offense, so that pretty much says our 31st ranked defense is the problem... 5th worst defense(points allowed), giving up 424 points for the season...

"Saints signed RB Tim Hightower to a reserve/future contract.

Hightower, 29 in May, tore his left ACL in 2011 and has been out of the league since. He's had a workout here and there, but an infection in his knee derailed his comeback. Hightower was medically cleared just last spring. He'll spend the offseason with the Saints and try to earn a spot in a backfield that could lose both Mark Ingram (free agent) and Pierre Thomas (potential cap casualty)"
