Can we develop anyone defensively to their full potential? I mean lofton & hawthorne are perfect examples of good young defensive players who havent quite reached what they probably could've. Loftons good but he was better in atlanta because he could actually cover then, same with hawthorne...now it looks kenny vaccaro isn't going to live up to his potential as well. It just seems like a common theme for our team...something needs to be changed.

MicKinley played in the SEC and helped MSU's defense hold the higher teams to lesser points than they usually score. Teams in the SEC that play like that are going to adjust quickly in the NFL. He is not a project or else he would not have made MSU a top defense.

Watched Fowler yesterday in the Gator's bowl game against Pirates and while he had three sacks, I also saw he took alot of plays off...

We already have Junior Galette, so I'd like to review McKinney more...

I was just about to post this. While he did make plays, man he took quit a few plays off.

1. Shaq Thompson
2. Bernaderick McKinney
3. Vic Beasley
4. Trea Waynes

Assuming Shane Ray and Leonard Williams are gone. Anyone of these ill be happy.

Although, we can trade back and get him later in the 1st round. Depends on his Combine numbers, too.

If McKinney kills it at the Combine, 13th may be the perfect spot. His body of work at My Dirt Farmer Cow College it pretty good.
