Re: Bears name Ryan Pace new GM
I don't think anybody is here trying to sing Cadet's praises as a great player, but at the very least he's a pretty solid kick returner (26.6 ypa career average) who can fill in at the PT pass-catching role and makes a very small salary. Those are the kinds of guys you need to fill out the bottom of a roster.

And I think its not the talent it just may be how the saints have used the players. Ivory is a joke at NY. |

Re: Bears name Ryan Pace new GM
There may be a middle ground in this
He is serviceable but easily replaceable Is he good enough to make the step up the roster and be the third man if Ingram goes? Not IMO he isnt and if he isnt a better player should be found from the FA/UDFA?late pick backs that will be there. |

Re: Bears name Ryan Pace new GM
I'm not a big Cadet fan one of the main reasons is as long as he has been here he's unable to crack the starting lineup and about the only time he gets in with the O in games it's basically trash time. As far as ST goes I have never heard his name other than him recieving the ball and getting about 10 maybe 15 yrds. As long as he has been here knowing the system and what he has contributed he can be replaced fairly easily for more than likely the same amount of money. Although he is built like a thumper-type of back he seems to get tackled easily by arm tackles that says alot, no vision is another problem.

Re: Bears name Ryan Pace new GM
We have about 8-10 players who desperately need to upgraded, Travaris Cadet ain't one of them.

Re: Bears name Ryan Pace new GM
His running style is frustrating and ineffective. 4th RB shouldn't be on game day roster. Cadet type of player can be easily stashed on PS or you can find them as FA.
