This is the second darkest time in team history. Could you imagine working in the front office right now with no real leadership having to watch your back at all times. Nobody of quality is going to want to work for this organization in this climate to include FA's even after it's sorted out. If the wife runs the show it's going to unravel rather quickly. All the recent statements by Benson she released, how is that even possible if he's losing his mental facilities. Impossible.

I have never even thought of the Saints not being in New Orleans. All of my entire life from birth til now all I know is the New Orlean Saints, I could never believe anything else,ever. As a fan there were many, many years that were horrid, even winning 1 game was a highlight in my life at times, then there were the hopeful middle of the pack years to keep your hopes up at possibly winning a banner to hang, now even though the last 3 seasons have kind of stunk we have a Superbowl to add to all the banners that now hang in the dome. The Saints have a rich tradition and an insane amount of fans that live and breath the team good or bad and taking that away would really hurt to the core. I don't want to feel like I lost a piece of my heart.

Wasn't Rita just sent away from the team a couple of years ago for her poor behavior and attitude towards the staff? I thought they made her go thru some sort of manners/professional training before she could come back.

Seems to me if that was the case it appears the training didn't take.

If Mickey is there who cares about the token position of leader? In fact I'd want an owner who doesn't think they know everything about the biz and leaves it to the professionals (aka: Loomis).

If Payton and Loomis bail if the team is actually turned over to Gayle then that will be the determining factor as to the actual problem. If Rita is gone and they're seemingly happier than it was probably the right call by Tom.

If the trust is so irrevocable, why not sue on those grounds? Why try and prove incompetence which is extremely difficult. I think there is more to this story than we've been told.

Removed items in a trust have to be replaced with items of similar value. That didn't happen. Items were replaced with items of lesser value which is illegal. That's the impasse and call to war from my understanding.
