Jim Bates will not return(per NFL Network)maybe clueless..I mean Venturi can be Saban's caretaker....i mean DC :D

We should go after Bates. That team played lights out for him after Wannstedt left and obviously loved him. not to mention how strong their defense has always been.

Who knows how much there was to the rumor that Haz called the D for the second half of the season? If it is true, I say we stick with that. Add a few players, and we won\'t look too bad.

If that\'s true let\'s demote Venturi to LBs, demote Haslett to DC, and get a COACH in here for the head position.
