Saints Setting Themselves Up for More Failure in 2015
Ok i am going to need to get a side car to fit all the band wagon jumpers on with me. Remember these are the same people that were signing the coming of the lord when Rob was signed and super bowl before the 2014 season started. so take it for what ever it is in your opinion. they are flip flopping with the fad of the day
New Orleans Saints Setting Themselves Up for More Failure in 2015 Not a lot of things went right for the New Orleans Saints in 2014, as the team bumbled and stumbled their way to a very disappointing 7-9 record. Despite being at or below .500 for the entire season, the Saints still had a shot at the postseason by virtue of playing in the weakest division in the NFL. But New Orleans was never able to put together any sort of run and wound up losing five of their last eight games of the season. Though the offense wasn’t without issues of their own, the New Orleans defense had a particularly bad season, ranking near the bottom of most significant statistical categories. By season’s end, the defense had managed to find themselves ranked 25th against the pass and 31st against the run. The 2014 campaign wasn’t exactly a ringing endorsement of Rob Ryan’s abilities as a defensive coordinator. Added to the team’s defensive failings, and overall disappointing performance in 2014, was a healthy dose of inner turmoil. As the pressure mounted with each loss, reports began to surface of a schism developing within the New Orleans coaching staff. In particular, between head coach Sean Payton and defensive coordinator Ryan. New Orleans Saints Setting Themselves Up for More Failure in 2015 | RantSports |

I feel like that article was highly exaggerating the "rift."

I dont know what to expect until FA/Draft ends. All I know is that I won't drink the Kool-Aid until they prove to me they can win, and handle adveristy. I think this year taught valuable lessons to the younger players, now maybe they can step up. Bolster the front 7 up, sign a veteran corner, and youthanize the offensive line and we should be set.

What rift. The offense looked equally as bad, maybe not statistically, but they were bad. They both need to look in the mirror and figure it out.

As bad as the defense was (and they were terrible) the offense was just as bad They had 3 games where they scored 10 or less points, that is very bad. |

No way on earth the offense was just as bad as the defense. Thats totally absurd.

Vs Bengals at home we scored 10 points Vs Carolina at home we scored 10 points Vs Atlanta at home we scored 14 points All those games we either had 3+ turnovers or at least 5 punts putting the defense straight back out there. You cannot win any of those games scoring that amount of points or giving the opposing team the ball back so often. |
