Agreed, we didn't want to shell out the money to pay Carl Nicks and now its come back to bite us

Everyone preaches the "we need to protect Brees better" points, yet we let the guy that was arguably the best young Guard in the league walk.

You'll notice Ben Grubbs on most plays, he's the one laying on his back after getting bull rushed.

We offered Nicks a contract making him the highest paid OG in NFL history. He left for a few dollars more.

We didn't just let him walk.

Im not up on US tax laws but didn't Nicks pay less overall tax moving to Florida. I seem to remember reading that they have no state taxes there

Correct sir. Florida, Texas, Nevada and a couple more that I can't remember off the top of my head.

You are correct about Texas, that and the wife's job are the only two reasons why I won't relocate
