Re: Burning Questions: Cap Casualties?
We'll keep most of them at a reduced price or a restructure.
This is the best cap shape we've been in for a few years now. We may even target a FA stud. |

We targeted and landed one last season when all the media clowns reported the Saints were in cap "hell" so who knows what rabbit Loomis will pull out his hat this time around

Re: Burning Questions: Cap Casualties?
Pay cuts and cuts all around... I don't see where anyone on this list deserves to not take a pay cut or be released....
Bunkley and Hawthorne can be released. Grubbs can be released if he doesn't take a pay cut |

I agree on Grubbs, he's been a disappointment since day 1

Re: Burning Questions: Cap Casualties?
Deep draft. Almost anyone can have the production of Grubbs, Evans, Watson and Colston did last season. I understand wanting to keep them, but they're just not worth the money. None of them are going to catch the fountain of youth either. Fix the cap and move on.

Re: Burning Questions: Cap Casualties?
Evans and Colston can stay at a cheaper rate since this team needs some veteran leadership but I wouldn't mind seeing the Saints draft some talented players to replace some of this overpaid dead weight on the team

Re: Burning Questions: Cap Casualties?
Hawethorne looked good in the last few games, but where was that guy earlier in the season. The PEDs must have kicked in late. Colston is no longer a starter. PERIOD. Watson and PT are worth their cap hits. I'd HATE to see Colston in someone else's uniform but it is probably best if we move on.
