The guy is a competitor no question, putting fear into Drew Brees I don't think that even enters into the equation. It did make for an interesting thread though.

I.E. Drew got Paid and There's Nothing Left For Us Kinda Thing...

And while there is some truth to that, he more than earned his, but that was my biggest concern was that his credibility would take a hit...

This past season, Brees did seem to take a couple of sacks where in previous years he would've thrown one of his bone-headed pick sixes...

If we can shorten the field (Defense gets turnovers) whereby we don't have to show every play in the playbook on a marathon drive, that should help...

The front office will never say it, but Grubbs was right there with Jason David as among the worse moves during tenure...

When you add that it was a kneejerk response to letting Carl Nicks go, to Tampa Bay, no less, it's really bad...

Though the premature contract extension for Junior Galette is closing fast as among the worst...

Brees has offered to renegotiate, but that would mean there would have to be more guaranteed money...

Sean Mickey Ireland has faced the reality that Brees age/decline will probably run out as the contract does...

And they'd rather be free of the Condon contract restrictiveness to make the necessary moves when that time comes...

Well Brees has 2 years left on this current deal, hope they get an extension done if he still wants to play. Hall of Fame Quaterbacks don't grow on tress, hell Jets have been trying to replace Namath since 1976 so be careful what you wish for

Don't think Brees isn't aware of all this talk of him being on the downward slide and him being traded next off season. I agree, he doesn't need any motivation either, but challenge him and his ability as a player, watch out.

And Drew needs "fear" because why? Fear has NEVER been what motivates Drew. His motivation is INTERNAL, not external....Being UNDER-ESTIMATED is what makes him tick, being too short etc, or telling him he can't do something, and watch him go and do it. Brees is clearly in this for the long haul, he is still making his case, his legacy both for him and the Saints....

He is 9th in career wins, ALL TIME. With quite a few years left to go. Fear has nothing to do with it.

Yeah but he can't win championships unless he gets help. All the great ones did that. He's probably sitting on his fat ass right now complaining about only having 2 seconds to read the whole field and then throw the ball.

Re: Now put the fear back into your QB

He hasn't fallen off but I do wish he'd run more rather than take a sack. Allot of times he could have ran for a first, but instead he throws a pic and or is sacked.

That's not a video game, it's an actual driving range of sorts with computer chipped golf balls and targets that you must aim at and hit. We have one in Spring Texas and it's a blast if you play golf. If you ever in a city with one I highly recommend playing, it's called Top Golf. They serve food and drinks also.
