In Loomis I trust .... he'll make the right moves to keep this team just below the salary cap. I'd rather be in salary cap hell and be contenders than have 30 million to spend each year and see the team go 7-9

Only problem with that is that we didn't have 30 million to spend and went 7-9. Having money to spend and get better helps a lot.

True but most of those teams with tons of cap space have to over spend to get free agents to go to their teams, see: Oakland, JAX

I think Loomis learned from the insane contracts he handed out the last couple years to players that once they got paid, didn't play up to what they were being paid to where he will be cautious to just throwing around Benson's money like its going out of style (Graham, Lofton, Gallette).
