A Call to Arms

All Teams in the NFL needs the fans to support them , through thick and thin,..And you may be hard pressed to find a team with Fans with the desire in thier hearts that we, the Saints fans have shown throughout the years...

We have (somehow, maybe against out own will) supported one of the most flawed Teams in sports history...

Alot of fans tend to want to give a nickname..or a slogan to thier team..It helps with team morale..and unites the fans with the team on a personal level..

Last year..I thought about bringing this up..But figured the time wasn't at hand, due to our failures early on..

However..this is a new year..I am aware that the season has yet to even end..but..This would be a good time to start throwing some ideas out there...

We need a new identity..I think(am I am sure I'm not alone)..that the ''WhoDat'' name is just not befitting a professional team on the way up...And in order to bring this team to the top..we will all have to try harder..we as fans may have failed..but our team did as well..so did the owner..everyone...We need a fresh start...

We need to invent a new name..or slogan..something with the kind of impact that will get this team talking..and if we, the fans were to give our team this new name/ slogan..whatever..it would be more meaningful to the players..and the media..and ..us..cuz we rule...and by God we have earned the right...

So..any Ideas of what we can ''tag''our team as?..give some ideas..and please.no jokes..i think if the team sees how much we back them..they may get a new feeling about how much they really do mean to us..It may sound corny or whatever..but I think it's a cool idea...Maybe even the fine people heading the BnG site could somehow get this idea to really take off...

We had..''The Dome Patrol''..and Who dats..but..we need sometihng with some spark...the domepartol was pretty cool..but..It has kinda expired...

What do you guys think?

A Call to Arms

I think you can call them anything you want but it is not gonna change the outcome. I got into it with a guy last year when he insinuated that people\'s negative comments on the message board probably has something to do with them losing. First of all, I would be dumbfounded to find out that any of the players visit any football message boards. But, if they do, and the negativity has had an impact on their performance, then they are in the wrong business. These guys are professionals who get paid a lot of money to do what they do. If something someone says affects their play, then they don\'t belong on the field. There is no room in professional sports for a person with \"rabbit ears.\"

Whether you think you can or think you can't...you're right!

I don\'t think this is the response shadowdrinker was looking for.

I applaud shadowdrinker\'s idea. Let\'s keep this positive, I think it\'s a good idea. So in other words, or actually in our mother\'s words, \"if you don\'t have anything nice to post, don\'t post anything at all.\" There are plenty of negative Haz or Brooks post floating around out there for you to shove your two cents in.

So, I for one will try and come up with a few over the next few days.

Welcome to the legion of dome??

Fleur de Legends??

for the defense, \"the Holy Sack-raments\"
