Very good attributes. Also, an overall \"football smart\" player, like the one\'s Belicheck breeds in NE.

what we should look for in draft
yeah, that\'s been part of the problem in new orleans is that we have trouble keeping smart football players with good character--I\'m sick of hearing about players stealing money from other players, drug scandals, or players that make stupid mistakes that keep geting left in the game so they never learn.

what we should look for in draft
Just a humble opinion here.
I wouldn\'t spend a lot of energy thinking about the draft until we see how this organization handles free agency. If, as usual, we do nothing in free agency, then we need to think about how we\'ve painted ourselves into a corner on draft day. |

what we should look for in draft
i\'d like to see us in the draft go after an o lineman who can play. a tackle hopefully and if the talent is there when we draft first round i\'d like to get a tackle. then a lb or dt. but if like last year the best player available is something you cant past by because of talnet regardless of need you take them. like will smith.

But just for fun lets say we don\'t sign anyone of any note in FA. I\'d take the best available player at LT, LB, or QB. A top notch stud at any of those 3 positions would impact the quality of this team more drastically than any others. I think the draft is also pretty deep at those positions so its likely a top 10 type could slip to 16, like Will Smith and Vince Wilfolk did last year. |
