Comp pick in 7th

The last time the Saints had the last pick in the NFL Draft was 1967...

We selected Jimmy Smith, Wide Receiver, Providence...

Smith declined to play for the Saints, settling instead for a career in basketball...

Jimmy Smith was the No. 1 Overall Pick by the Detroit Pistons in the 1967 NBA Draft...

So if our Mr. Irrelevant doesn't work out, he can always play for the Pelicans...

And he'd have one helluva parade as no one can parade like New Orleans...

"Jimmy Walker" ... didn't know that off the top of my head, had to look it up,

... interesting reading, they talk about how he never reached his potential as a pro b-ball player due partly to weight gain (shoulda' played pro football then,

) and how he paired with Dave Bing/Nate Archibald on the court ... pretty good company,
