Let\'s see how wrong we are.

Davey was the only quarterback in LSU history to throw for over 3,000 yards in a season (3,347; 2001) … He is also the only passer in LSU annals to throw for over 300 yards in three consecutive games … He ranks fifth in school history with 29 touchdown passes and sixth with 4,415 yards passing despite starting in only 12 games … Completed 286 of 478 passes (59.8 percent), both ranking seventh on LSU’s all-time record list. 2001 (Senior): All-Southeastern Conference second-team selection by the league’s coaches and the Associated Press … Started every game and guided Louisiana State to its first outright conference title since 1986 … Completed a school single-season record 217 of 367 passes (59.1 percent) for 3,347 yards and 18 touchdowns … Davey set two school records with 528 yards passing and 35 completions in the Tigers 35-21 victory over Alabama … His 528 yards was only the fourth 500 yard passing performance in SEC history … His 540 yards of total offense tied the SEC game-record, first set by Mississippi’s Archie Manning vs. Alabama in 1969 … Earned Sugar Bowl MVP honors as he closed out his career by hitting on 31 of 53 passes for 444 yards and three touchdowns in 47-34 victory over Illinois. 2000 (Junior): Selected as one of three captains and was the recipient of the team’s Most Inspirational Award … Played in four games, including starts against Tennessee and Florida and completed 38 of 59 passes (64.4 percent) for 577 yards, seven touchdowns and only one interception … Added 49 yards rushing on eight carries (6.1 avg.) … 1999 (Sophomore): Served as the Tigers backup quarterback, playing in seven games, including two starts … 1998 (Redshirt): Played in two games, versus Arkansas State and Idaho but recorded no statistics. 1997 (Freshman): Redshirted as a freshman.
Any more questions? Some people will second anything.

Saints whodi Love the stats. Even if people don\'t like him because he is from LSU than put in perspective that he has been with charlie weis and that mistake free offense.
Oh and for everybody who doesn\'t know anything about rohan everywhere he goes there a winner.

If you watched the bowl game against georgia tech a few years back when they benched josh booty in the second half that is when rohan davey showed me how good he is and LSU came back and won the game because how he took over the game.

The NCAA and NFL Europe ain\'t the big time, kids. And Rohan Davey ain\'t a big time QB.

If you want stats, here\'s how he shined in the 2004 preseason:

31/64 for 260 yds, 2 TD, 3 INT, sacked 5 times (for -35 yds), 50.3 passer rating.

Not so hot when you consider:

Matt Schaub
54/86 for 655 yds, 6 TD, 2 INT, sacked 6 times (for -44 yds), 99.7 passer rating.

Or even ... Todd Collins
38/49 for 484 yds, 3 TD, 0 INT, sacked 5 times (for -33 yds), 128.2 passer rating.

All were facing less-than-spectacular backup defenses. If Davey can\'t do any better than that against backups, I\'m not interested.

Hey, let\'s sign Todd Collins!!! :P

Hey guys there is another Qb out there that may be traded... Rumors abound that Philip Rivers may be offered up... with the new found love for Brees, and the amount they will both be making.. Here is a thought Bring Rivers in here to Compete with Brooks, or Hell Trade Brooks for a Pick or another cb, ss, or fs.. This is just a thought, but, Rivers might be medium high to really high Priced depending on how much intrest he draws.

Although it\'d be perfect for the saints if they would consider getting rid of Breeze, I don\'t think it\'ll happen either...not this year. The smart GM would hang onto Breeze another season, see how he does next year, and then make a decision on who to keep. The added benefit would be that Rivers would get another season to watch - a luxuary in today\'s game.

The downside is that SD may lose higher compensation if Breeze doesn\'t play as well in \'05 as he did in \'04. But I say that compensation isn\'t nearly as important as making the right decision on your QB since the wrong decision can hurt you for years. Just ask SD if that isn\'t true.
