He determined Brady was lying and should have also determined the same for Belicheat. No way a coach could not know this was happening. This is your star QB you have been with through thick and thin. You know all about what goes on. Impossible to be unaware of it. Impossible. If the balls are adjusted for games they are also adjusted for practice. You train how you are going to fight.
Payton, he could have made a case for himself if he had shown he addressed the issue when notified immediately. He never did this which is what most professionals would do to CYA. I was waiting for this to come out and it never did surface so yeah, you have to show you did your due diligence as coach to stop it or at least, deliver a documented severe warning if it was going on or not that it won't be tolerated. |
