tom deserves all the recognition for this teams success. i always felt he did not get enough.

us old timers know the difference between an owner that like to have a team and an owner that wants to win.

that is the usual stunt all teams use to blackmail the tax payers for more money.

as long as we keep giving a rat cheese he will never leave.

Especially if we never look at it as a business investment and do all we can to protect that investment. The commissioner does his thing and we the tax payers built this league never stand up to him.

I don't get what you're saying man... In one post you're saying that Benson deserves a lot of credit and then you say that he pretty much played the tax payers to help keep the team here.

Tom acted like a complete POS, extorting the Saints home base at an all-time low...

Completely, utterly unscrupulous cowardice...

Rita may be a flake, bat-sh*t crazy, but she was out front guided by Paul Tagliabue, anchoring the team down for the city's recovery...

Recent events have me thinking Tom is getting a serious dose of karma...

Am a Loomis critic, and still think it was dumb luck that Loomis hired Payton, but this team and its fans were due and Loomis gets a tip of the hat for that move...

Winning turns things around, and Payton is the one who deserves that credit...

I applaud the class that Sean Payton continually shows as the true leader of this franchise...

But, if I'm giving credit it's to Paul Tagliabue for stopping Benson's relocation plans and Sean Payton for bringing Strength & Honor to the Saints...
