There is word now that some teams are eyeing Thomas Davis, not to play safety, but linebacker. I've praised the play of this guy for some time now, and he was the leader of that stout defense at UGA. He would need to add a few pounds, but he is a playmaker. The second is a guy that received alot of press during the week leading up to the North/South game, defensive end Demarcus Ware from Troy State. He's 6'4", 235lbs and played defensive end for the Trojans, but some teams have him projected as a strong side linebacker in the NFL. He has a motor that does not stop (I saw footage, and for his size, he was doing things that he shouldn't have been able to do), and has moves on top of moves. When asked what position he would prefer to play, he said he didn't care, as long as he was playing. |

I\'ve seeen the guy from troy-and he\'s good..maybe with a later round pick though. I\'d prefer davis as a safety over a lb0-he\'d be a big safety, but better a big and fast safety than a smallish linebacker..IMO
