2013 video emerges of Saints' Junior Galette striking woman with belt; NFL aware

One logical reason why the Saints would be sharing this video would be to trigger some sort of moral clause in his contract. If this is the fact then the Saints could vacate some or all of his cap hit ... maybe even the current year's.

Of course they're being compliant, Saints realize they've got better talent now...

...that and, oh, look what happened the last time the Saints weren't compliant with the league office...

Now, we see if Rodger gets us some more cap relief or continues to stick it to us...

He'll probably wait to "gather all the facts" and wait to the season begins that way he sticks it to us (again) for the season and covers his arse...

Don't be surprised to see 'national' journalist 'suggest' the Saints knew about this since 2013...

Friend in hat in IG and Video? Check
Friend in blue shirt in IG and Video? Check

Impossible to defend it. Hitting the dudes maybe you get away with a drunk brawl at the beach. Hitting the girl? Not going to get away with that one.

OK so we all agree I think it's him and we are all likely done defending him and trying to keep him on the team. SO, what do you do with him with a contract that prevents you from cutting him? Hope he gets suspended and we get the same roster spot back that Goodell gave the Panthers when Hardy was suspended? That's about the best scenario I can think of.

Your wrong about us defending him. I think most people on this forum now realize that JR is a cancer and would be better sitting behind bars than on our bench. Used to stick up for the guy but after the video of him saying"F Sean" came out I was done, and now this lol.

I am hoping there is a clause in his contract that let's us dump him without taking a hit.

I'm thinking that the F*** Sean video from a few weeks ago may have played a part in the Saints sending this new video in.

Maybe Sean told Mickey "I don't want this clown on my team anymore, make it happen" and Mickey is pulling out all the stops.

If he's suspended I'm not sure how it effects our cap or how much guaranteed money he's gonna get, but maybe this is how you get rid of him without taking a huge cap hit, or at least minimizing it.
