Tough video to watch...
While it's easy to see that Galette hits a woman with a belt twice, we have no context surrounding the events that lead to that video. I did see a man and woman approaching Galette who both seemed to be in attack mode. This is where Jr. could have and should have back peddled his way out of it. Instead he lashes out wildly and hits a woman at least once on purpose. The fact that he re-entered the fight is also bad. Here's my thing: If this happened in 2013 when did the NFL receive the tape? Was it sent to the same office as the Ray Rice video? Same desk? Same person?? Did the NFL see the video and if so, why didn't they take action? |
