I guess in 2006 we really didn't have anything to lose by signing him, we were fresh off a 3 win season so expectations weren't sky high By underachieving on defense, all we are doing is wasting the years that Brees still has. |

I still have faith in Byrd. He has the talent.....but it's hard to believe that we are counting on another injured player.

The biggest problem is him missing the start of camp again. A player simply will not play well without getting in sync first. Byrd is missing a crucial time with the saints because he has not gelled in one camp yet with the team.
