Word from camp is that KRob is even better catching passes.

Re: Mark Ingram the Pass Catcher?
Is it my imagination, or is the average Saint just more intelligent than most other ball players. I never expected Ingram to be so eloquent.

Re: Mark Ingram the Pass Catcher?
Ingram was one of the lone bright spots last year, I hope we've improved the O line enough to make him successful.
I'm not liking the reports about people like Jahri Evans struggling, excuses were made that he struggled due to injury last season and now he's finally healthy, so why is he still getting beat nearly every drill? |

Re: Mark Ingram the Pass Catcher?
Ingram caught the ball pretty well in college. never envisioned him as a three down back, ever.
The long list of nagging injuries he has had, is my number reason I think we might have over paid him just a bit. Then the ease in which a defense can defend the saints when he is on the field is my second reason to think we overpaid him again. Then there is his lack of development as a blocker for my third reason. In this offense I just did not see him as a key piece. ever. Just too one–dimensional. If the saints lean heavy on the run it is a safe bet he will be out at the very least two games due to injuries. lets pray last year was no fluke because KRob has been nothing but a tease so far and teams last year had his running style figured out. |

Re: Mark Ingram the Pass Catcher?
Ingram last season showed he can carry the load. He had vision, speed, and hit the holes like a freight train. If he's getting screen passes thats pretty well rounding out his game. K-Rob will earn reps. but I'm thinking Ingrams play is the reason he's not seeing the field as much. If Ingram goes down at any point K-Rob will be ready to ball.
