New Orleans Saints returners don boxing gloves in practice exercise
The New Orleans Saints have been getting creative with some of their special teams work in training camp.
The Saints have used props at times to teach their return men. On one day, they used a volleyball instead of a football to simulate certain situations. On Sunday, the returners donned boxing gloves. The reason behind it, said Saints coach Sean Payton, was to teach them the proper fundamentals of returning a ball without the benefit of using their hands in the usual way.  read more here | |
