So you love to see a trust fund baby blow hot air and sling insults left and right, front and back? Without any merit or substance whatsoever?

"He's a loser, she is a loser, I am rich, Mexicans are rapists, women have periods, blah blah blah"... ok... free country and all..

Trump has made this whole thing into a Sitcom/Reality Show. You just can't wait for the next episode to see what he does. Maybe the good thing is that he is confusing the heck out of all the other countries. Kind of like the way SP used to call plays at one point in time the other teams couldn't figure him out week to week.

His appeal is because he's striking back at an elitist media that for most of my life has been severely left wing biased.

I do not want him as my President, unless the only alternative is a Democrat

Oh, please..

What the heck is "an elitist media"? Never mind that "media" is plural...

His appeal is that he runs his mouth, that is his appeal. Still trying to imitate Reagan's bravado, not realizing that most of Reagan's bravado came from an actor.

The reality is, no matter who says what, as long as someone slings insults at non-GOPers (unless it is something about the military, in which case it is taboo, as long as it doesn't involve a Democrat, then it isn't), puts the bible ahead of the US Constitution, wants guns bought and sold through vending machines like bubble gum, opposes everything and anything a Democrat says or does just because that Democrat is not GOP, and slaps the word "freedom" to anything, the core of the GOPers will give standing ovations.

Due respect, but you're wrong.

Yesterday was a good example. The whole immigration thing. Now it's clear to me that Trump doesn't fully understand, or maybe he just doesn't give credit to or is maybe blissfully unaware of the complexities of illegal immigration. I'll not only give you that, I'll say it first.

But he goes in front of the country and he says, "listen, we all know what 'anchor babies' are, and it's bull**** and it needs to stop.

Anybody disagree?

No. Most people in this country, 14th amendment notwithstanding, agree with Trump. It's bull****. It's being horribly abused, deliberately, and the country cannot continue to afford illegal immigration at the scale we see it today.

He's willing to come at people in a different way, BECAUSE he's not a career politician. BECAUSE he doesn't need to play the game the way a career politician MUST play it.

He's not going to win. But I'll keep hoping that some of the truly viable candidates will take note of the nerve he's touched in our Country and follow his lead to some degree.

Actually I am right, and you just presented my case for me.

Yes, always good to hear from someone who does not understand what he or she is talking about.

But he goes in front of the country and he says, "listen, we all know what 'anchor babies' are, and it's bull**** and it needs to stop.

Anybody disagree?
Well, no ****, Sherlock.
I don't think anyone will disagree in that we know what an anchor baby is, and that it is bull****. However, this is exactly what a loud mouth does: run his mouth with expletives stating what's obvious; but somehow, because he's confrontational, uses expletives, it makes it more valid or truer, a revelation, an epiphany?

And where is the substance? Where is the viable solution? "Build a wall and make the Mexicans pay for it".. yeah, great solution there. Reminds me of the French.

"In a different way".. yeah, running his mouth, you mean.

What nerve? you mean the very same nerve (immigration) that everyone has been touching since forever in every election within the GOP?

Clearly you and I have two entirely different perspectives. If I may, I think you might be a bit too wrapped up in your disdain for "The Donald" to see the forest for the trees. Doesn't matter. Fact is he's leading the polls for a reason. People seem to be tired of hearing the same well-prepared canned answers when politicians are put on public display. I for one am hopeful the politicos will recognize this and that if nothing else Trump's presence gets us closer to reality and further from political correctness.

If I may, were's the "substance" or the viable "solution" from any other candidate? Trump will say what the other's steer clear from saying.

Happy to discuss in the political forum.
