That's right. I'm turning over a new leaf.

I often let myself become sucked in to things I should just leave alone. Like, oh, the Aaron Brooks war.

I feel there are a lot of "over-the-top" statements that are made here. But, hey, it's a message board ... it's to be expected.

Some of you know I make extreme statements and comparisons to prove a point, or to try and show someone where I think they're going wrong.

Some folks can understand that.........Some can't.

Some of you might think that I think Aaron Brooks is as good as Peyton Manning. Well, I don't. Was just showing how Peyton could be blamed for ALL of those playoff loses.

But, enough about that.

In the interest of making this a better board, I'm going to start with myself. That's the only thing I know for sure I can change.

Instead of debating these "over-the-top" statements over and over and over........ I'm going to talk about things that are on topic and worthy of discussion.

I'm turning over a new leaf folks.. ;)

It's gonna be tough. Those over-the-top statements really strike a chord with me sometimes.

As I light up a cigarette, I'm wondering how much self contol I'm going to have in sticking with my promise to myself.

Ah........this cigarette sure is good.... :P
