It's the BATTLE OF THE OLD-SCHOOL, COOL LOOKING UNIFORMS!!!!
The Saints defense is so depleted that they are asking for volunteer Packer fans who want to walk-on during the game to contact the team by going to the visitors locker-room 30 minutes before the game. A blood alcohol level less than .9% can get you a starting position on a major NFL teams defensive backfield, and a case of Milwaukee's Best for your efforts!!!

Re: LIVE THREAD SAINTS PACKERS PRESEASON FANALE
Time to see who gets on the 53 man roster. Not many positions left. Good luck boys!! I still think the depth at G and NT needs to be addressed. I'll be looking at cb. and lb. the most. I would like to see the 3-4 look in this game to see if it would be a better fit( I think it would )with the personel on the D. It couldn't be any worst than what we run now.

Show of hands...
How many of us kinda like this meaningless game? I do... I wanna see Tull, Franklin, Murphy, Coley, SJB, Swann, Seamster, Barnes, Mabry, Opurum, Charles, and my camp favorite, Willie Snead!!! |

Re: LIVE THREAD SAINTS PACKERS PRESEASON FANALE
Even if Lewis were able to play lights out without a good pass rush we will be near as bad as last season. I can't stand this 4-3 under we run, it has no consistantcy in it from year to year, although we might get lucky with turnovers like '09, other than that I can't see it. I have watched every pre-season game at least twice so far and our O will have to score 30+ to keep us in the game.

Same here. Unlike some folks, I see the preseason for exactly what it is, a competition for roster spots and depth chart position. Watching the starters play a little is fun and all, but mostly nerve wracking due to the obvious concerns over injury. What I really want to see is who is gonna stand out amongst the younger players.

Brees has looked great. Ingram and Robinson are ready. Cooks has all-pro written all over him. The OLine has looked solid and has quality depth in Kelemete and Peat. Breaux and Kikaha look the part. Anthony has the skills. SJB and Swann have looked good. Murphy is a legit returner. Both young kickers have big legs and look to be very accurate. WHO DAT!
