@ Arizona = L
0-1 Too many injuries coming into a tough road game. Tampa Bay = W 1-1 Much closer than it should be in Dome. D continues to have trouble getting off field. @ Carolina = L 1-2 Another one of those losses where the D gives up a game winning drive. Ryan's rear end is starting to emit smoke... Dallas = W 2-2 Saints win a squeaker that experts have them no chance in. Drew again is Mr Primetime and D gets a key stop or turnover to seal the win. @Philadelphia = L 2-3 Rainy weather slows offense. Saints drop game by 2 scores. Atlanta = W 3-3 Payback for that egg we laid last year with playoffs on the line. Browner full speed and shuts down Julio plus Lewis back. @Indianapolis = L 3-4 Saints play great game but come up short in OT. NY Giants = W 4-4 Giants in the Dome is usually a get well game and Saints do just that. Tennessee = W 5-4 Saints win 5th in a row at home. All the can't win on road talk returns. @ Washington = W 6-4 Despite a blistering Twitter assault by junior before the game, the Saints manhandle the Skins for a 2015 road win. @ Houston = W 7-4 Saints win the one that counts. Short passing game to RBs keeps JJ somewhat in check. Carolina = W 8-4 Saints win a LOW SCORING game for a change - 17-13 @ Tampa Bay = W 9-4 Saints offense is clicking and D is respectable. This one looks like a 2011 score. Saints take division lead. Detroit = W 10-4 Saints win shootout with Lions on a 50+ yard FG by Hocker. Jacksonville = W 11-4 Saints clinch South with win over Jags. @ Atlanta = L 11-5 Saints game flexed because ATL is trying for wildcard. Earlier in day Saints back into #2 seed. Brees and other starters sit this one out. |

Re: Post your predictions
Record seems about right to me, but hope the start isn't that rough. I guess it would be ok in the end though.

Re: Post your predictions
If this team makes it to 8-8 I'd be Thrilled. My gut tells me this team will be lucky to be 5-11 or 6-10. My reason for such low hope is the defense in god awful. We are counting way too much on rookies. Still not sold on Mark Ingram or the injure waiting to happen to C.J. Spiller. Wr is either old or too young yet. Sean Payton's playbook is as old and Predictable as all hell instead of targeting Jimmy graham 15-20 times a games we are gonna do it with Brandon cooks. Did I mention the defense well we have none
Its not out of the question to start 1-7 IMHO |

Re: Post your predictions
That's pretty well thought out. I'm thinking 11-5 is quite probable.

Re: Post your predictions
How many teams on our schedule are better than we are (on paper)?
Atlanta? No Tampa? No Carolina? No Detroit? No Giants? Hell No Redskins? Hell No Jacksonville? Hell No Tennessee? Hell No Houston? Maybe Philly? Maybe Dallas? Maybe Arizona? Maybe Indy? Probably |

Re: Post your predictions
It's why early predictions are rediculousness.
Teams hyped to win the Superbowl end up unable to limp into a playoff game. Teams weak as a baby go INSANE and run the table. At least one of the teams with a new coach will roll out a playoff team - Atlanta could be most improved or could be the biggest flop. Saints at 0-4 preseason could be laughable or shock everyone and have players step up to the plate. Right now I have no feel for this team. It's tempting to look at 0-4 preseason and predict disaster.... they my better judgement kicks in and remembers Joe Gibbs teams in Washington looking pathetic in preseason and winning Superbowls. Same for Walsh's 49ers. I also had no feel for the Saints in 2009 and we rolled the NFL and wiped our rear-ends with teams like they were toilet paper. |
