Re: More on the imminent decline of Brees
Blaming the O-Line is a bull**** excuse. The Packers have a mediocre O-Line and that doesn't stop their QB from always being league MVP.

Re: More on the imminent decline of Brees
Rogers has separated himself from the rest of the pack. That has no bearing on Bees' abilities though. Still a top 5 guy in my opinion.

It's just the usual hacks trying to create controversy...ignore it.

Re: More on the imminent decline of Brees
I hoping that Brees isn't just blowing smoke about his mechanics, and that he really does return to form. But I still think his decision making has been his biggest problem lately. No, the line hasn't been great, but he has tried to throw into double and triple coverage even when he has time.
So I'll believe he's back to his old self when I see it. Either way, there's no arguing he's our best option for now and at least in the near future. When you read some of these columns, you'd swear Brees were a paraplegic. |
Re: More on the imminent decline of Brees
he no longer has Graham, I really thing Brees got into a mind set where when the line broke down just throw it to Graham and he will bail me out. That option is gone, Brees will go back to spreading the ball around now

Re: More on the imminent decline of Brees
I'll take my chances with Brees. Have seen a lot of QB's around the league and there are very few with the brains and accuracy that Drew still possesses.

Re: More on the imminent decline of Brees
Drew is declining at an alarming rate for a 50 yr. old has been. Oh wait, he's still in his 30's?
