I think people are getting carried away. The political correctness is taking all the fun out of life. Who the hell hasn't hit on a chick when out at a nightclub that happened to have a boyfriend? Getting drunk and doing **** like this happens multiple times a night at a club like this. Probably hundreds of times a month.
Yes I get that he is in the spotlight and yes it was 4am but he has the right to do whatever he wants with his free time. Slapping her but was stupid but come the puck on!
The more I hear about it the more it sounds like it just got blown way out of proportion.

No, not more and more common, just more and more reported. I will lay money that the number of these type of incidents were MUCH higher 20-25 years ago.
