C.J. Spiller will miss season opener against Arizona
New Orleans running back C.J. Spiller will miss the season opener against Arizona, according to the NFL Network’s Ian Rapaport.
Spiller underwent a minor arthroscopic procedure on his knee early in training camp, and he’s missed the rest of camp recovering. Initially, the Saints targeted a Week 1 return, but Rapaport’s report indicates that Spiller needs a little more time. Rapaport also reported that Spiller should be good to go again for the Saints’ home opener against Tampa Bay the next week.  read more | |
