Don't know much about Don Jones but Toben and Seantavius are pretty decent special teams players.

This ^^^^^^^that is my thinking as well. Payton could be trying to pad special teams. We know that the offense is set to click on all 8 cylinders while the defense is a question mark (at least for now).

Having a solid special teams can take you to the next level come playoffs.

Who is going to replace Graham's redzone protection is still a question mark.

IMO there are 2 options:

Option 1: Colston becomes Brees' new security blanket.

Option 2: The offensive line and Ingram become the league's newest nightmare.

Colston becomes a new security blanket?!? What was he all those years before Graham came along?! I think it's a role he knows well.
