did not like the punt call because it just didnt make any sense...

but that's no excuse for that BS either...

should have went for it

Re: Saints @ Cardinals - Game Day Thread

Even if we stopped them we had to go 80 yrd without a time out....that was dumb....come one Payton

Re: Saints @ Cardinals - Game Day Thread

hey browner, there was a game still going on. he looked lost today

pherein 09-13-2015 06:15 PM

Re: Saints @ Cardinals - Game Day Thread

8-8 maybe 9-7 team if lucky. Our D cant get 4 ints, our O is 1-4 in the red zone, just truth

jonnyrotten 09-13-2015 06:16 PM

Re: Saints @ Cardinals - Game Day Thread

oh well, let's pad brees stats. 9-7? lol 5-11

Our offense was stagnant when we needed it as usual.

spkb25 09-13-2015 06:16 PM

Re: Saints @ Cardinals - Game Day Thread

Here is my feeling, hate the loss, but appreciate the effort. We did not play this way but maybe twice last season. I am hopeful that if we give this effort week in and week out we have a good chance at winning our division.

we lost, and there were some things to be upset about, but there was no quit, and I am hopeful of this season. If we give this effort week in and week out

Payton lost his b*lls.

And yes, Browner allowed some big time receptions. That's who he is...

Padding the o, ridiculous and they can't even do that right

thought the d shook off a bad start and played well.

Screen is the only played that worked all day

you mean missing 4 easy ints ? they cant get even 1?

jonnyrotten 09-13-2015 06:21 PM

Re: Saints @ Cardinals - Game Day Thread

4 easy? guess you watched a different game in a different world. some opportunities sure that we may not have capatilized on, we also got away with a few.

They did the same thing last year, regardless the defense.

At this point I hope the sign K. Phillips and Warren back....because we were basically playing 9 against 11 on defense...

what are you talking about? give the cards some credit. good team and we played in their house, their crowd was into the game and loud. I like to be realistic and i still predict 5-11 but the team played surprisingly well today IMO

Stop acting like its the second coming to the 85 bears or even on par with the Seahawks. Sean Payton's game an was just awful wheatear its lack of personnel or whatever Our offense is so predictable its not funny if teams shut the deep ball down everyone knows it's gonna be a tone of screens

Rsanders24 09-13-2015 06:24 PM

Re: Saints @ Cardinals - Game Day Thread

Payton better scrub the FS hard for some help for Brees

I hated the punt call but Im more upset with Colston. Hit him right in the hands. He cost us the first game last year with the fumble in OT. I still love the dude but this is getting old.

their d is better than the hawks when fully healthy, like today

1-5 in red zone, 4 easy ints on D we dont get 1. Bad play calling with runs with 20 yrds. Cant break the worst OL everyone saw in preseason. What are you talking about ?
If your happy with a 5-11 team well thats you. We look bad on both sides of the ball. Whats sad is our D looked better than our O.
We look like the frikin jags out there. A loser struggling team.

aren't you the absolute jack ass that kept saying we weren't running the ball enough, against the best run d in the frigan league u said we weren't running enough. we were getting less than 3 yard per carry and u were still screaming for it

who said i was happy with 5-11? do you know how to read? i said they played much better than i expected. Agreed that we did not have enough pressure for a supposedly bad oline but minus one awful play at the end and a rough start there were definite glimpses of a potential there.

did you even watch the game? why do you suppose ingram was all alone with two blockers on two defenders?

saintshrimp 09-13-2015 06:31 PM

Re: Saints @ Cardinals - Game Day Thread

We never run the ball enough sorry but we don't Payton has always been too pass happy if we ran more safety and corner have to creep up and defend it and it opens at up down field basic foot ball 101

spkb25 09-13-2015 06:32 PM

Re: Saints @ Cardinals - Game Day Thread

There were certainly things we could have done better, but I liked the way we played. room to grow, but headed in the right direction, not like last season

Rsanders24 09-13-2015 06:32 PM

Re: Saints @ Cardinals - Game Day Thread

Our offense was just sad...we have always had a top 3 offense in the red zone....

As far as the defense...we all knew they weren't going to be good...but most people said we just need them to not be the worst in the league and we were good for 10-11 win....no way in hell that happens this year with this offense we saw today...

yeah ignore what I said and start speaking in general terms vs this game....we don't, in 09 and 11 weren't we one of the top 5 teams in rushing both of those seasons?
