The New Orleans Saints flurry of activity from Saturday didn't last long.
The Saints re-signed veteran running back Tim Hightower and offensive lineman Mike McGlynn after releasing them on Friday to open up spots to promote several practice squad players. Two of those practice squad players—wide receiver Seantavius Jones and fullback Toben Opurum, who were promoted to the active roster to play special teams against the Cardinals—have been waived.
