So I went FA shopping here are my 4 requests
You aren\'t getting me. I know Alexander MAY end up somewhere else, that is the point of being a free agent. But it is cheaper for Seattle to keep him with a franchise tag than Jones or Alexander. They also have several other key guys who are free agents. They have franchised jones the lasy two years as well and he seems content not to work out a long term deal, and why should he be when the franchise tag guarantees him so much. Temas build up animosity towards that sort of thing. Hasselbeck would be a starter elsewhere, but to franchise him is to pay him $9 mil dollars if he signs the tender. No way. On the other hand, not many RBs are making top dollar and that has to be the cheapest alternative of the 3. We will see though.

i understand you and completely agree... financially, its best to tag alexander b/c he\' s cheaper due to his posiion.... but i\'m saying their priorities are signing hasselbeck to long term contract no.1 and signing walter jones to long term contract no. 2.... i\'m sure they\'d love to get shaun back, but one of those guys has to be the odd man out and it looks, at least to me, like that man will be alexander....

I see what you are saying, but they have tagged Jones the last 2 or 3 years in a row, and like I said, he seems content not wo work a long term deal cause of it. Besdies the fact he shows up to camp late every year because of it. I think his agent may be the Postons, do you know? If so look for him to be elsewhere if they are looking for a reasonable deal. But I get completely what you are saying.

I wouldn\'t sign either 4... way too expensive.
Smooth, Lucas, Hartwell, or Diem for me. Much more affordable and just as talented. Many other less expensive talented players out there. Pace\'s contract demands are ridiculous so is Bell\'s. |

Seatlle may actually be better off in the long run...they need a Defense....and they will have the scratch, if the let Alexander go...I think they can draft a 1st round RB..and he will be servicable...at the very least... |
