Jones and Bell. Didn\'t Ferguson work out a new deal with the Jets already? I am about 90% certain either he did during the season, or they were definitely working on it.

jones will be franchised, as will pace (who will then sign a long term contract), ferguson is thisclose to signing a new contract, so the only one available for benson to pass on is bell.

You sure it will be jones who will be franchised? They also have to look at Alexander and Hasselbeck who are free agents. That tag situation is gonna be tight in Seattle depending on who they apply it to. The best bet may be Alexander cause LTs and QBs would make A LOT of money being franchised while only a few RBs are making the elite dollars.

Stranger things have happened. They can\'t feel comfortable with Morris and are not high enough to draft an elite guy. Alexander can cry about leaving all he wants, but Seattle is holding the cards.

in today\'s nfl, why pay top dollar for a running back when you can draft some 3rd rd player, put him in there behind a good line, and he\'ll pick up 1000-1500 yds a season... case in point every bronco running back in the past 10 yrs....

But Seattle does not have the Broncos line or coaches. HUGE difference. And Alexander is a TD machine, you aren\'t just gonna replace that. I disagree with you on this one.
