And again certain players work well within certain systems. they worked well for the saints. just because you're good at one team doesn't mean you're gonna have success at another. Just ask peyton manning.

and before you start with the stat giving, he got whooped in the super bowl and indy whooped them in the 1st rd of the playoffs last season and they may not make it this season. especially with kubiak.
If Kenny Stills was so great then why we trade him? Think maybe there was some stuff behind closed doors we didn't know at the time or still son't know. For better or worst, coach is gonna do what he thinks is best.

Do I miss having a Jimmy in the redzone, yes. But I was not bent like you and some others when we traded him. Jimmy wasn't the same player he was after all that contract bull crap. I get your point about the system but to say we lost this person and that person and the players you are referring to are not doing squat elsewhere, well the team doesn't look so dumb. In the past was different. We would let players go for non performance and as soon as they got on another team, boom!! they were superstars. This is not the case lately.

I read that Jimmy G is unhappy with his role in Seattle. They don't know how to use.

Some people here will never agree with this but we got the better end of the deal with Seattle. The players are basically a wash. Seattle O line is struggling without Unger and we are struggling in the red zone without Graham. What makes us have the better deal is we got there first round pick.

Re: Saints' real problem on offense, and it's not just Drew Brees’ shoulder

The issue is you can hold back the flood waters of a bulging cap for only so long then the dam burst and all hell breaks lose if you did not draft the right players to replace the fat over bloated contracts one is dealing with.

Saints have shown appreciation to players and have been loyal to fault. This blind loyalty resulted in the cap situation they are in today. From a basic business sense many saw this day coming. People had to go.

The huge issue is the lack of young cheap quality players to step in and become starters. This is how you easy the pain of transition.

Saints bench suxs and always has for the most part. Once in a blue moon do the saints get players that really push for a starting job. The draft and free agency always seem to be a plug and play approach based on need not on developing quality depth on the bench.

Lets hope 2015 draft will be a new page for the saints draft history. 2017 and 2018 are approaching quickly and we can ill afford any more strike outs in the draft right now.

The guy is right. The issues with saints are much bigger than Drew.

And after two games Kenny Stills has 3 catches for 20 yards.
Maybe he wasn't as good as we thought?

Those are the type we need. Nothing flashy or fancy just solid. I would take 11 solid (blue chip) players any day over 11 (flash,me type) 7 days a week. More consistant.
