Brian Billick says Sean Payton should consider giving up play-calling duties | NOLA.com |
Re: Sean Payton needs to give up play calling duties
It's obvious.
We've all been saying it for years, way too predictable. 1st and 10 run for 1 yard 2nd and 9 pass to full back for 2 yards 3rd and 7 screen pass that goes for 2 yards. Punt Repeat. |
Re: Sean Payton needs to give up play calling duties
Let's see:
Brian Billick: Games over .500: 16 Super Bowl Wins: 1 Overall Championships: 1 Conference Championships: 1 Division Championships: 2 Sean Payton: Games over .500: 30 Super Bowl Wins: 1 Overall Championships: 1 Conference Championships: 1 Division Championships: 3 Not that I don't agree with him, but it doesn't take an "expert" to get to that conclusion. |
Re: Sean Payton needs to give up play calling duties
And give it to who? That's a silly statement. Payton is better than anyone we bring in to call plays.

I'm all for it, anything that might turn things around. SP is to damn stubborn though even though Carmicheal called plays in 2011 and 2012 and the offense run smoothly

Re: Sean Payton needs to give up play calling duties
Sean Payton will bring this offense down with him.... He should focus on the head coaching side of thing it would be nice to see a offense that I didn't know what play was being ran next....

Re: Sean Payton needs to give up play calling duties
The Cowboys, the Packers both of these teams have recently turned the play calling over and the QBs love it.
Sean, please take yourself out of the this equation. If you can't or won't do it then leave. |
Re: Sean Payton needs to give up play calling duties
This thread is FREAKING STUPID. The problem over the years has been DEFENSE AND DRAFTS and slightly better teams. And lets not forget this idiot.
http://l3.yimg.com/bt/api/res/1.2/hv...jpg_021554.jpg This year the problem is 25 new players, Brees injury killing the passing game over 10 yards, young WRs and penalties. Throw in salary cap numbers to keep the team competitive for 9 years, and if you still think Payton is the problem, you must be a new fan or not paying attention.
