Re: Brees Out versus Panthers
I'd like to see what our future QB looks like as well. I hope it isn't Grayson because he hasn't shown me crap.

Re: Brees Out versus Panthers
Trial by fire. I think the kid looked fairly poised in limited action in pre-season. He might be fine running with the 1's. Good protection and a good run game, it might actually be a good game. If McCown plays like crap or goes down he'll get his shot.

Re: Brees Out versus Panthers
McCown is no sham QB, he has put up some impressive stats on other teams and he is also older and wiser. Main thing, he can make all the throws which Brees could not do last week and it hurt us. It hurt us big time. There really is no excuse on offense now. He is a formidable QB than is healthy. Make the throws and we likely win the game. If that happened last week we likely win. I'm actually glad.. not that he's hurt, but that we are going with the best option to win instead of leaving him in there knowing he's C- at best.

Re: Brees Out versus Panthers
just think, he played the game with that injury, no wonder his passes were so off. Could make the team play harder... we'll see

Re: Brees Out versus Panthers
We got nothing to lose.
I say we're going out there and Play Ball. Stephone Anthony & the D. C.J. Spiller & Khiry & only we know that Luke actually can play. Im glad Drew is getting a chance to recover. This is the week to do it. How sweet would it be to come away with a W vs. Carolina now? Lets Rock. |
