this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Let's see what the "Generator" can do.... For some odd reason I see us getting the Victory call it a gut feeling or maybe it's this Daquiri either way I'll be watching !...

Re: Brees Out versus Panthers
I agree. Have seen nothing whatsoever that tells me we are the better team. Paper or not

Re: Brees Out versus Panthers
If Brees hadn't got injured in the first half the outcome would have been far different.

Titans also have creamed offenses on the road holding them to less than 15 points the last three season openers now. TB also made the mistake of not running the ball consistently as that is Tennessee's biggest weakness. I actually thought we were not sweeping the bucs again, and would lose one or both games because the first being at home(I have 3-3 division). I was not surprised to see a 0-2 start. I at one point picked a 0-2 start that would end up 4-2(it depends if we can have a better offense than Atlanta week 6). However, if we lose this game to Carolina we will win the home game. So it doesn't matter. I always think it's the matchups not running out of strength winning so many games. We can go 0-3 and still beat Dallas, Atlanta, New York, Tennessee all at home, and at Washington or Philadelphia and end up 5-5 before the bye week. And if we win our last three home games and win in Atlanta we can get to 9-7. But honestly look at Indy. They are not this feared offense, jets defense beat them in their own place. We can certainly give them a game. So it is even possible we could go 6-4 before the bye. Am I overthinking? Maybe, but the two matchups we played are better than those games(minus Indy) due to one having weapons(yes bucs have weapons) and the other being at home and being well rounded. Giants have Odell and a crappy RBBC, Tennessee could pose a challenge if we don't run the ball, Philadelphia is learning why Bradford is a bad qb(can't spread the ball around, doesn't force it to Matthews), Washington has a bad qb, Atlanta will be on short rest and our most hated rival, and Dallas is without their two biggest players and have no stud running attack. |
