Browner off the line in zone is just exposing his Achilles heel. Maybe when Lewis get back things will change. But making Browner give a cushion is stupid. That ain't his game.

Swann maybe the answer opposite of Lewis and let Browner beat up on his man all game long. If Lewis was back and Browner had Olsen all game long, I guarantee he would have neutralized him at the line all game long.

True man coverage or at the very least press coverage is what we need. We sux in zone

How about getting Greg Williams back. Socializing is out but winning is in

Re: Fire Rob Ryan

Imagine if we bench Browner when Keenan comes back

Breaux has played much better after being a penalty machine the first game
Damian Swann (who many called a camp body) is our most consistent CB at the moment

Imagine Keenan and Breaux, with Swann at Nickel, if the D line could stop acting like 2 years and actually do their job we might field a better D.

We need a consistent Defensive coordinator .......and stop paying 60 million for guys that aren't playing!!!!

nope I would not go there. If Lewis was on the field I would assign Browner Olsen all game. I Benjamin was healthy I would not think twice about Browner on him. Get up in their face and jam them at the line. Knock them around all game. That is what Browner is all about. keep him away from quickness and speed at all cost.

Browner should never be asked to give cushion.

Re: Fire Rob Ryan

It's the same broken record, year in and year out,,,,,not saying that RR and spagnano should have gotten or get whacked, but we keep bringing in unhealthy old turd balls, or cats that stink. As long as our front office keeps bringing in guys who are either too old, or start the season not able to play, wouldn't matter if Turd Ferguson ran the defense. Although at least he'd have an excuse. It's the same thing,,,,,,,,,Where's Turd Ferguson!!

Having J Byrd and Lewis will fix the d-line to rush the passer and not allow him 18 Mississippi to throw right ? Ha

Re: Fire Rob Ryan

What I don't understand is the lack of a blitz from Rob .

He definitely don't have his old man's aggressiveness that's for sure.
