As a blocking TE, i have hope for him holding some holes for the run game, which, in turn, opens up the backfield.

Maybe that are moving him to right tackle because lord knows all we need is another slow TE who is not a threat to catch the ball....We could resigned Orson Charles...

Are they getting desperate? Is this a win now situation or are they mortgaging our future knowing they won't be here to deal with it?

Why did they wait for an 0-3 start before waking up? I have no idea of what they are really up to at this point. Maybe they're thinking they can turn it around quickly & take a shot at the playoffs or the division.

I'm suspicious of everything they do.

You don't understand matchups, we have played our toughest matchups already and are entering into our easy stretch.

Also, we have started out 0-4 twice and turned around got to .500 only for us to play a trap game against St.Louis and a home game against strongly contending SF team.

Say we get to .500 before the bye here is who we have after

@Houston
Carolina
@Tampa Bay
Detroit
Jacksonville
@Atlanta

After Houston we have Carolina at home, TB, Detroit and Jacksonville at home. I believe if we are 5-5 going into the bye we could be 9-6 going into Atlanta the last game. However I actually think we could go into the bye at 6-4 if we win in Indy.

Any extension Brees does will be right in the ballpark with the Brady deal. That $30M hit for next year will be restructured into a deal that pays between $15M and $18M over the next three to four years partially guaranteed or $13M to $16M fully guaranteed.

That's my guess, anyway.

Hakeem Nicks is a good WR. He has great hands, is a legit route runner and has decent size and speed. Also on Jeffrey I'd a very athletic, very big WR. Both or either one could help us. Colston is done.
