God I hope so. I'm sorry but some of the stuff said on here was kind of messed up IMO. Everyone is ready to give up on the season, fire the coaches and trade the one good QB we've had since Archie. Jesus.

But ... some of these coaches do need to be fired though.

Not if you want to have any hope for the remainder of the season. Only losers fire coaches midseason.

No doubt ... I wouldn't fire Rob mid season however if the Saints continue their downward spiral I can definitely see him and possibly others on the current staff let go after the season is complete.

Busted coverages, blown assignments, 13 men on the field, penalties.
That ain't gonna cut it.

I agree thats accurate 90% of the time. But if you have a competent assistant who can take over for a DC that has proven to be incompetent or has lost the respect of the players then I think you pull the trigger.

Not saying Ryan is there yet, or that Dennis Allen is that guy who can take over, but its certainly not out of the realm of believe-ability.

I haven't seen a lot of people talking about in-season firings. It's generally understood that when people want someone fired, they mean after the season. This is absolutely the last year for a lot of these guys on staff if things don't turn around drastically.

We went 7-9 last year, when some had us going to the superbowl. Now we're 0-3. What is the definition of loser, if we aren't it? That's not a personal shot at their character (though there have been a few of those issues with players who have since left the building) but it's an indisputable fact on the field.

If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.

If I could I would be that loser. I would fire the entire D staff and bring in competent coaches to be able to evaluate what type of players we need to fill the gapping holes and who to keep in this so-called D we have now and plan better for next season we would't look like idiots we look like now. Now is the perfect time if you ask me. They might improve a little but rest ashurd this D want be anything special and keeping these coaches longer, well we will continue to stink.
