Feel blessed? I'm as critical of our coaching staff as anyone right now, but Akiem has been here a while and done absolutely nothing. We traded dead weight for a guy I've barely heard of. I doubt he's going to shine. He should have done so already, if he really wanted to bad enough.

But hey... At least you're shining, right Jimmy? Oh yeah, that's right... You're a blocking tight end who occasionally catches passes now. Clearly the Seahawks must know what's best for you.

Every door that closes a new one opens up somewhere. I'm not exactly defending Jimmy, but it is really hard for the "sunshine pumping" fan crowd to accept the fact that we are basically a dumpster fire of a professional sports team, right now at this moment. I promise I won't be one of them, but I will guarantee you that if things do not go swimmingly well on Sunday night, you will hear boo-birds in the Dome, raining down pretty early on....I even heard some boos during the Tampa game and frankly I was surprised at how fast and early they came out the woodwork....

Plus, from the pro athlete's perspective: everyone knows the Saints have NO CAP rom whatsoever. If you are a young, up-and-coming professional athlete on the Saints, there is NO MONEY for you here anymore...it's all been used up by Junior and Byrd and Drew and Jimmy and guys who were cut, and whoever else it was already spent on. You are either one of those FEW guys getting paid really well by the Saints, or else you are close to league minimum like most guys on the team. This is a FACT, people. The only way for a young Saints player to get a raise or make more money right now, is to leave and go somewhere else and get it. And they just shifted Brees so next year there will be even less to go around. That's a fact. Why would athletes want to come here and play for the 0-3 Saints, again? Because of a single Lombardi that the team got seven years ago? I just don't think the team has a very good reputation among the players, these days. It's not a prized destination, for anyone except the few who have already gotten the big paydays here. The rest of them are just barely happy to have a foothold in the league.

Well, ouch, maybe we have been wearing rose colored glasses for the last decade. But it was an awesome time to be a Saints fan if so!

I don't understand remarks like this.

If it is so much better in Seattle than NO, then why be smug about it?

Ok, so you think you're better off JG - great, you probably are - but you don't have to act like a wannabe Richard Sherman running your trap.

Be a man and MOVE ON - stop taking swipes.

Nobody dissed you - you got a King's ransom for a salary and you were traded to a contender for a pro bowler - where have you been done wrong by the Saints (who helped make you what you are)???

It shows his insecurity because he hasn't done squat up in Seattle, exactly what SP and Loomis predicted so they made in trade bait. If he was rocking and rolling in Seattle, maybe what he said would actually mean something.

If Jimmy's experience with the Saints was so bad, why is he, obviously, still upset about being traded? If he wanted to say something negative about the Saints to Hicks, he could have called or texted him. But, social media? Not very nice!

There are 2 ways to look at this. Either he is upset about getting traded or he, painfully, is speaking the truth.

Either way coach should use this as a locker room motivation tool.

I know he was hurt at times but more than a handful of games he completely vanished, add to that the excessive drops that really killed us last season, that one push off TD, team effort but that one move cost us the game and the playoffs and it was not needed, especially with all eyes on him the last play of the game. Really no way to justify it keeping him. Our lines were getting weak and something had to be done. It didn't work out for them or us in the end but it was the right call.

What kind of "man" posts a little shot like this on the computer? Then is so spineless he deletes it immediately after?

I'm sorry. I like him here. Defended him. Was rooting for him. Was proud for him.

This is no man. This is a little boy, mad about being dealt with, up in his room pouting and taking shots at his oppressors through the "safety" of the Internet.

Punk. Glad he's gone, and my reasoning has nothing to do with football. He's too stupid to know he just justified why Payton send him packing.

So it's ok to act like a teenager? I could understand if he got cut. He got traded. It's business, he's not losing money over it. So any whining he feels like doing should be kept private. Drew Brees was completely given up on by the chargers, and went on to have a hall of fame career with us. You don't see him taking shots.

Agree with you. Tells me exactly why they made him trade bait. He's an immature child.

Excuse Me. I don't take it as a slight at all. Look at the moves the Saints have made in the past 4 years. Can anyone honestly say that we were trying to put together a serious Super Bowl push while Brees is still productive? Jimmy Graham is entitled to his opinion just like everyone else. When a team trades the biggest offensive weapon on the team one year after resigning him for a center (albeit an all pro..BTW hows that working out for us?). Spin this any way you want.. WE SUCK!! Coach and GM are not getting bashed as hard as Graham who we traded???? The ugly honest truth is we are closer to putting brown paper bags on our heads and drowning our sorrows in hurricanes!

You don't think coach and GM are getting bashed as hard? You haven't been paying attention to anything if you believe that. Jimmy doesn't have to like the move. You don't make disparaging remarks publicly about your former team, if you're any kind of an adult.

The Saints found this guy and gave him a shot. Drew (when he was healthy and at his best) made Jimmy into what he is. How's he looking in Seattle, so far? Who gave him all that money? We traded him to fill other holes. Did our team do a good job of filling holes, and replacing the weapons we've lost? Not so far, and that has been the cause of much bashing.

But if the Saints had no regard for Jimmy they would never have paid him. No excuse for him to show such disrespect all while his Seahawks are off to a prolific 1-2 start.

When he's man enough to state his opinion in the open (and not delete it immediately after like a spineless punk) you let me know. 'Til then he's a gutless punk.
