Brooks asked to do too much?
Hey! Hey! Hey! :P
What are you guys tawkin\' bout? I didn\'t say Brooks was a great leader. I didn\'t say Brooks didn\'t fumble too much. I didn\'t say ANY of that.. I very simply pointed out how much Brooks is asked to pass and compared it to some other QBs. It\'s a very simple analysis. Forget Brooks for a second....... Does our \"offense\" pass the ball more than it should have to? |
Brooks asked to do too much?
..why, of course they are asking too much of him.. ..they\'re asking him to play NFL QB, for Pete\'s sake!!!! :rollinglaugh: barrabum \"PLISH\"... ..thank you, thank you.. I\'ll be here all week.. don\'t forget to tip your waiter... |

But, I see no one really wants to talk about this subject. Folks want to bring up EVERYTHING but what I\'m asking about. You guys dont\' want the truth! You can\'t handle the truth! :P |
Brooks asked to do too much?
In answer to your question probably but I don\'t know --- some teams pass the ball better -- the west coast offense if supposed to use the passing game as a running game -- but heres a questions how many times did he have to pass the year before -- I am not sure but wasn\'t that the year Deuce ran for 100+ yrds 8 straight games -- wasn\'t that the year he ran for around 1500 yards -- (could have been the year before that but the point remains the same) Whatever year Deuce had though stats did AB have a breakout year --

Now, he fumbled the ball too much and he deserves a lot of criticism for it. But, he had a break-out year in the \"passing\" game. [Edited on 11/2/2005 by GumboBC] |
Brooks asked to do too much?
Is Aaron Brooks asked to do too much in the Saints offense?
Of course. NFL QBs are asked to think, and we all know that\'s too much to ask of Brooks! LOL |

Most of us can handle the truth.. it seems that you are the one who can\'t, to be honest... ... look, the problem with your arguments is that you don\'t stick with one logic.. you go all over the place... ..take your original post, for example: Why do you ask if the Saints are asking too much of Brooks? Don\'t you think Brooks is a great QB? Don\'t you want a great player to get the ball and make plays? By you posing such a question, you are basically saying that AB is not that good, and should not be entrusted with the responsibility of participating in so many plays... ..hasn\'t it occured to you, that maybe those other QB\'s you mention don\'t throw the ball as much because they are much more accurate than Brooks, and they hit their receivers more often that Brooks does? Well, since y\'all don\'t want to talk about anything....
Might as well sing the Beverly HillBilly theme song... Ah 1 , Ah 2, Ah 1 2 3!! Come \'n listen to my story \'bout a ma an named Jed. A poor mountaineer, barely kept his fam\'ly fed. Then one day he was shootin at some food, and up thru the ground came a bubblin\' crude. Oil that is, black gold, Texas tea. Well the first thing you know ol\' Jed\'s a millionaire. The kin folk said \"Jed, move away from there.\" Said \"Californy is the place you oughta be\", so they loaded up the truck and moved to Beverly. Hills, that is. Swimmin\' pools, movie stars. Well now it\'s time to say goodbye to Jed and all hi is kin, an\' they would like to thank you folks fer kindly droppin\' in. You\'re all invited back \'gain t\'this locality, to have a heapin\' helpin\' of their hospital \'ty. Hillbilly, that is! Set a spell, Take your shoes off! Y\'all come back, y\'hear!
