Brees will start against Cowboys

Everything is gonna be alright now. Drew really does live for the game. We have been honored to have had him for the past 10 years and we will have him till "he" decides to retire a Saint.

Let's turn the season around starting this week.

could we let Drew sit a couple more weeks and get some hot tub
and ben gay?

I'd just as soon have a fresh, healthy body behind center, while this O-line
gets time to "gel." Why risk what little future we have?

While we have a few naysayers here in the Whodatnation, remember this, Drew is a FHOF QB. He will come out Sunday night and light it up like New Years. There is no doubt in my mind. No "logical or lets be real" negative explanation can change my mind. When he throws for 5 TDs and shocks the NFL world, just say B.Dub told you so. Good night my people

I would be excited by this news if I had any reason to believe what Payton or Brees say about Brees' health. He was supposedly in the best shape of his career coming in. That turned out to be less than genuine. He wasn't looking very strong before the "not torn" rotator cuff. After that he simply had nothing, whatsoever, left on his passes.

I said last week, get him as healthy as you can before bringing him back. Just having him out there doesn't mean anything if he's 65-75%. And even at 80% health you're putting a strain on that shoulder to try to play through it, and that's asking for a career ending situation at his age.
