Re: Hocker
SP won't put up w a kicker that he cant trust - that's why he got rid of Hartley. Question is... who else is available out there?

Re: Hocker
Still don't understand why we didn't keep the Florida St Kid (Hopkins); he's banging it for the Redskins now which makes the burn doubly poignant...
I'd bring in Mort Andersen and have him tell Payton who the best kicker is; I mean, who would no better than the Best Placekicker of All-Time... Problem is Mort probably would tell Payton add McMahon to the impending dumpster fire at the end of the season and Coach seems incapable of firing his Special Teams Coach... |

Re: Hocker
Look, it's not like he missed a 25 yarder. The guy missed 2 50 yard field goals. He missed them both just a little wide but had the leg for 10 more yards. For the past 5 years we would not of even considered kicking that far. With some tweeking you guys will be loving him by the end of the season.

He also missed a game winner of less than 40 and I think one in the 40's against the falcons. 67% is not going to cut it |
