New Orleans Saints free safety Jairus Byrd said he is "getting acclimated more and more" since his return from a knee injury and subsequent setback that caused him to miss 15 consecutive games over two seasons, he said Thursday.
"I feel good, thank God," he said. "Just appreciative to be out there. You really don't understand, when you sit out for so long you just appreciate the moment, the games, being at practice.
