Not saying that Allen is the answer but it definitely isn't Rob. He has no game plan. We need serious help on defense & dysfunction starts at the top. No we will not get off Rob's back x-(. This is embarrassing. |
Re: Fire Rob Ryan
Yeah I agree, I like Ryan, but the numbers don't lie. Time to go

If you only watched this single game then maybe all those excuses you made up would work, but this is nothing new for ryan. The last year and a half we have had the worst defense in the nfl, hell there are college D's that are better. |
Re: Fire Rob Ryan
I don't think its a knee jerk reaction to fire him now.
I mean this has been going on for 2 seasons now WTF. |

If the offense was struggling and ranked at the bottom of the NFL (like our defense) I would be calling for Sean Payton to give up playcalling duties. When Rob struggled in his second year I was one of the first people to say he needs another year to prove himself based off how good he was his first year. We're now halfway through this year and I haven't seen much improvement. What's more concerning is that it doesn't appear to matter who's in the game, our defense just isn't playing well period. Blown coverages and wacky mistakes continue to happen. Don't get me wrong, the players share some of that blame but part of being a coach is knowing what your players are good at and what they're not and scheming around their talents. Rob doesn't appear to be doing that. I would be shocked if Rob is still the d coordinator coming out of the bye week. |

Check out RR's rankings as a DefCoor. In 11 seasons, his defenses have been ranked in the bottom half of the league 9 times. Four of those years, his defense was ranked in the bottom 4. Numbers don't lie.

http://m.pfref.com/m?p=XXcoachesXXRyanRo0.htm&t=0

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk |

I think the fact that we will have to let RR go is academic. Consider it's already happened. Why keep him around? He gave us a booster after Spags, then last year we stunk again. In 2015, I would have cut ties and brought in another professional with experience. To heck with reputation and defensive "coaching carousel" talk. We're trying to WIN and not win a reputation contest. In fact, if we keep RR after this season and we finish 2015 below 20th ranked in the NFL on defense, either we let him go or it will look poorly on SP because who can take SP seriously? No hard feelings, but RR shouldn't be here. Tired of excuses, lost draft picks etc. We need to make sure coach is not part of the problem. RR has a poor poor coaching history, period! |
