He'll be fired and our players will all to a man say he was a great coach who shouldn't have been fired. But hey, let our megalomaniac head coach keep firing DC's who aren't "Yes" men.
There's a difference between being a likable guy, and a good coach. Players like him because he has a somewhat juvenile personality. Players love that. Does that help them play better?

Yea but Lebeau wouldn't want to keep paytons pals like all the other DC's had too so that was doomed from the start.

This is so true. Main reason we suck on defense.

RR and his great D stats:
Yards: 30,27, 3, 22, 27, 31, 22, 14, 19, 4, 31, 31
Points: 31,25,18,26, 24, 21, 13, 16, 24, 4, 28, 30

Dennis Allen's fault

Wasn't Allen suppose to make the defense better? The secondary sure isnt any better.

I am not part of the decision making, but I'd assume in case RR floundered like a cuckold out of water

Really? Are we going to act like he wasn't brought in to help? DC is a title that doesn't mean squat if you don't have full control.

His sole responsibility is to work with Rex Ryan which is why they are always side by side.

I guess he's like some of the people who work under me....relatives of someone...Payton felt bad because he didn't have a job....sounds like what you are saying...
