The positive Rob Ryan thread

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; First of all our defense will continue to suck as long as Payton gets the final say in position coaches. I also believe Payton has more input in the defense than we think....

I take it you were not being honest when you said you agreed with me earlier... That's cool. Everyone has an opinion. I'll stand by my remarks.

Rob has a long track record of mediocrity. These players aren't real good, but they look poorly coached when you see the breakdowns. There is too much shuffling and zero results.

Multiple Cowboys players made comments that he shouldn't have been fired and that they loved playing for him. Maybe he was right? It certainly looks like it's headed that way here. He'll be fired and our players will all to a man say he was a great coach who shouldn't have been fired. But hey, let our megalomaniac head coach keep firing DC's who aren't "Yes" men.

Dennis Allen's fault
Wasn't Allen suppose to make the defense better? The secondary sure isnt any better.

There's a difference between being a likable guy, and a good coach. Players like him because he has a somewhat juvenile personality. Players love that. Does that help them play better?

Another agree sanders, i think payton does have is hand in too many cookie jars. Kinda like al davis calling down to the field tell the coach to throw the long ball when he felt it

I am not part of the decision making, but I'd assume in case RR floundered like a cuckold out of water
